To all Legal Representatives: Booking Appointments

From the Public Enquiry Office, 1st Floor, Lunar House, Croydon, CR9 2BY

As you will all be aware, the Croydon PEO Representatives Team decided to trial a change to our appointment booking practices in June 2009.  During this time appointments could be booked for the entire month of June, rather than the usual week in advance.

This new method was instigated as it was thought this would alleviate pressure on those booking the appointments, plus have the additional benefit of alleviating unnecessary stress on yourselves. However we were deluged with e-mails and telephone calls and found that this did not enable us to run the process in a more efficient manner.

After a careful review of the trial, and feedback from various legal representatives, it has been decided to revert to the old booking system.

We will therefore resume bookings a week in advance with effect from Monday 29th June 2009, and every week thereafter.

We will only accept emails requesting slots which are sent between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, (Bank Holidays excluded).

These will be continue to be dealt with on a first come first serve basis, and not more than one slot will be allocated per firm per week.

Requests for slots should still be sent to peocroydonrepresentativesteam@ukba.gsi.gov.uk the first working day of the week prior to the week in which you require an appointment.

We would like to thank you for your patience and forbearance during the trial period and we look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.
