The UK Border Agency has published a new Customer Charter, setting out clear delivery standards.
The agency said the Customer Charter promises a Customer Strategy to simplify service and delivery standards:
“The Customer Strategy, which was published in January 2009, explained why striving for excellent customer service is consistent with our aim of securing our border and controlling migration for the benefit of the United Kingdom.
“The Charter will help us to help our customers, by committing us to service and delivery standards. We will do our best to provide customers with the services they need, when they want them. The Charter also explains how customers can help us in their dealings with us.”
