Despite a major overhaul of existing UK Immigration Rues over the last two years, the Home Office are to introduce more new laws to crack down on immigration, as announced by the Queen at the state opening of Parliament.

Free access to the NHS will be restricted, illegal migrants will be prevented from obtaining driving licences and landlords will be forced to check the immigration status of their tenants.

The Queen said an Immigration Bill will aim to “ensure that this country attracts people who will contribute and deter those who will not”.

The bill will prevent illegal immigrants from obtaining driving licences, and change the rules so that private landlords have to verify their tenants’ immigration status before renting out a property or room.

New Immigration Rules will also allow the Home Office to deport foreign criminals and people who are in the UK illegally, without being blocked by lengthy immigration appeals in the courts. The government has suffered repeated setbacks in the appeal courts over the last 10 years while trying to deport the radical cleric Abu Qatada.

Employers and businesses caught employing illegal foreign labour are to face even bigger fines, currently set at a maximum of £10,000 per illegal worker.

Access to the NHS healthcare system by migrants will be restricted and temporary visitors will have to “make a contribution” to costs.

The latest immigration crackdown by the Home Office follows a worrying rise in support for UKIP, which wants a huge reduction in net migration and withdrawal from the EU, but the coalition Government said the measures had been decided before last week’s local election results. Source: BBC.

The latest ‘crackdown’ will do nothing about the expected mass migration from Bulgaria and Romania when work restrictions are lifted next year.

In a recent BBC poll it emerged that as many as 350,000 Romanians and Bulgarians could be looking for work in the UK.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download

Immigration research commissioned by the BBC has discovered that 1 per cent of working age Romanians and 4.2 per cent of Bulgarians said they are currently seeking jobs in the UK in 2013 or 2014, despite Home Office restrictions on working.

Romanians have come under fierce attack since joining the EU in 2007, despite being restricted by the Home Office from working in the UK without a work permit or yellow card permit. Majestic College has trained hundreds of Romanians and Bulgarians on NVQ vocational courses in Customer Service and Health and Social Care.

Majestic College Centre Manager told Immigration Matters that the vast majority of Romanians and Bulgarians have been excellent students who have completed their courses and obtained gainful employment. Many Romanians and Bulgarians are arriving early to ‘beat the rush’ when work restrictions end next year, despite the need to apply for a ‘yellow card’ permit to study and work in the UK.

Please, I would like to know the procedures for applying for a ‘study and work visa’in the United Kingdom. Please, I want to know as quick as possible. Thanks.

  2. The taxes in the UK are lower than most EU countries.
Do you really think that a £500 visa fee and a few hundred pounds a month in PAYE taxes covers the cost of health care or an operation, child benefit/housing benefit, a council house or two kids at school? One child at school costs the taxpayer £5000 per year – how much tax do you think someone on average earnings pays?
Some migrants forget that you can’t have a country with an infrastructure like the UK’s if people do not pay tax. That is why many migrants want to get out of their own country, because hardly anybody pays tax, the rich (or corrupt government officials) few have all the wealth and the rest of the population are living in third world conditions.

  3. When LEGAL migrants pay exorbitant taxes, it’s not fair to restrict NHS. Just that most Asians don’t complain about the application fees and visa fee costs, this has been raised exorbitantly too these days ! There may come a day when you want to provide Visa and we LEGAL migrants will not accept it, may not be too far.
