Filipina Nurse graduate, Rachel, could only find a voluntary work placement in the Philippines, for which many Nurses PAY the hospitals around 5000 Peso’s a month for the privilege!

Rachel decided to change direction and go back to school by studying overseas in the UK on a student visa.

She enrolled on a NVQ Health and Social care course at Majestic College in the UK, and hopes the international study and paid work placement (the employer pays her, not the other way around) will enhance her future career prospects.

Bison UK arranged her student visa and paid work placement her with a UK care home employer.
