Abbey College language training school has ceased trading, Inside Ireland reports.

Abbey College specialised in english language teaching but also provided foundation and diploma courses for international students.
In a statement on its website, the college said it is seeking ‘alternative arrangements’ for those students who have not completed their tuition.
Abbey College closed with immediate affect on Friday, but said alternative arrangements for students could take weeks.
It apologised to its students, saying steps were being taken to appoint a liquidator and wind up the company.
For students whose tuition period has finished, the statement says their details have been sent to the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB).

It is however understood, that the closure comes just one week before students are expected to sit their final exams.
